ABBEY OF SAINT GALL, ST. GALLEN, SWITZERLAND

UNESCO World Heritage Site, Abbey of Saint Gall is renowned for its stunning Baroque architecture and its rich history
as a center of learning and culture.

The Abbey Library, known as the Stiftsbibliothek, is one of the oldest and most beautiful libraries in the world.
It houses a vast collection of medieval manuscripts, incunabula, and early printed books. The library's collection includes
over 160,000 volumes, with many manuscripts dating back to the 8th century.

The Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of St. Gall, stands as a central feature of the Abbey of Saint Gall complex.
It was constructed between 1755 and 1766 and is celebrated for its grandiose Baroque and Rococo architectural style.
