“Je pense que la photographie est un médium incontournable de la valorisation architecturale.
C’est une trace, un témoin de la création et de la transformation comme les formes de l’architecture sont le reflet de
leur époque. En tant que photographe, j’apporte de la valeur et du sens en proposant un regard singulier et en privilé-
giant une approche esthétique picturale rigoureuse.”
Après une formation universitaire en Sociologie et Ethnologie, Fabrice Fouillet étudie la photographie à L' École des
Gobelins à Paris. Photographe indépendant depuis 2004, il collabore avec les agences de communication et les magazines
dans les domaines de l'architecture et du design.
En 2013, sa série sur les églises modernes « Corpus Christi » remporte les Sony Awards dans la catégorie “Architecture”
lui valant ses premières collaborations avec le New York Times. La même année, c’est dans le cadre d’une commande qu’il
rencontre l’architecte Espagnol Rafael moneo. Rencontre déterminante qui changera sa vision de l’architecture et donnera
une nouvelle orientation à son travail.
Aujourd’hui, il continu d’accompagner les agences de communication dans leur projets et collabore régulièrement avec les
architectes en photographiant leurs réalisations.
